MAGNIFIED REALITY - Episode 3

Well readers, episode 3 of 'Magnified Reality' is for you to ponder about. Freely meditate on possible realities that could come into play in the lives of Susan and Jasper. What would their parents do? How would they feel? If they continued with school, would they survive it with the baby? Would one of them have to drop their career for the time? Would they have to work or be supported for some time by their parents? You think about it!
Now the truth is that the devil tries to take away the reality from the scene when young people especially engage in fornication (and other sins). In fact he refurbished the term 'fornication' to something more trendy, maybe 'affair' or something. But the truth remains that reality fades away temporarily during those seemingly 'sweet moments', until 'something goes wrong'. The reality of aftermaths is usually diminished during these fleeting exotic moments.
In my view, it's better for youths to maintain platonic and healthy friendship with a defined purpose. Not 'boyfriend' and 'girlfriend' which is hellish and sensual (you know exactly what I mean). Have friends, build one another in character and virtue, no strings attached. It however becomes all wrong when we turn it into something sensual. If you develop an affection for someone (of opposite gender of course) and you're not sure it's from God, discard it for your own good. If on the other hand, you're sure it's in line with God's purpose for you but you're not ready, then wait! God might be teaching you patience.
I believe in the progression_ Healthy Friendship - Courtship - Marriage
It's best to marry one who can be your friend, not just a 'mate'. At the healthy friendship stage, you have many friends or few as the case may be, and you understand one another very well. It's purely platonic. Then there could be one of your friends who would be 'that special one' (you only know this when you're matured enough to discern), if your spirit, soul and body agrees with him/her and the time is right. Courtship follows under supervision. Then Marriage crowns it up as the journey of life together begins.
Let us keep ourselves pure and chaste; Spirit, Soul and Body, remaining blameless in all things.
Remember, when you get impatient about anything, you give an opportunity for reality to be diminished in view. But trust me, it gets magnified beyond imagination sooner than later.
As for me, I've decided to keep myself pure and Holy for God... And chaste for the woman who will be the third person in my triangle so help me God.

MAGNIFIED REALITY - Episode 2

Jasper was a medical student too, a sophomore just like Susan his 'girlfriend'. He was studying for his test which was scheduled to hold the next morning when he heard Susan had blacked out at the clinic. He made haste to the clinic. She was revived by the time he got there. He moved closer and sat with her on the sofa
"Hey Suzy! What happened? Are you alright?" He asked troubled
"I'm fine" she replied with tears rolling down her pretty eyes.
"Suzy, if I didn't know better, I'd say you're troubled. Tell me about it dear" He pressured her.
After a long rest, he took her to a fast food outlet close by. Jasper tried to cheer her up and make her feel relaxed, but wasnt successful.
Susan finally dropped the missile...
"Jasper, I'm pregnant!"
His smile gradually faded with confusion surfacing. His ears became as though they were mystically sensing sounds of war planes and fighter Jets behind his head. His appettite disappeared abruptly, his whole body became numb
"Jasper, I said I'm pregnant" Susan repeated with a hysterical tone
"I heard you Susan, I'm just confused. I don't know what to do" He replied.
Jasper's heart began to skip beats. But this time it was real, not like that which he told Susan when he was making attempts to win her heart. Now he had won more than he could carry. Of course abortion was not an option. Jasper was a responsible boy who would not think of that and Susan was also from a good background. Though they threw away all their discipline and chastity just to satisfy the lust of the flesh they had stirred by beginning such relationship when they were not even close to being ready.
Life started becoming clearer with time to them. The love mates had been 'checkmated' by life itself and had no option but to let their parents know about the pregnancy. Their future would be decided hence... But they did it ONLY ONCE!

MAGNIFIED REALITY - Episode 1

Susan woke up that morning feeling extremely nauseated. In fact laying on her bed could no longer suffice, she had to manage the 'king-size' floor. Suddenly she felt a wave making its way right from her stomach towards her throat without restraint, she quickly ran to the restroom where she puked uncontrollably. "What's happening to me?" she asked herself, "I've never felt this way my whole life" she thought. Fears grew within her as she threw up once more. Looking into the mirror, the color of her eyes had changed, her palms were pale. Somehow she was reminded of the fact that she had a boyfriend and that a fortnight ago they had taken the 'relationship' a step further; farther away from their boundaries and trespassed into the sacred borders of 'marriage'. She began to pray and wish within her heart: "Lord, please I can't be pregnant now, please Lord!". At this point she was enthralled with fear.  Susan could tell no one about it, though it was obvious she was down. Later that day she went to see a private doctor who after series of tests cautiously told her she was two weeks pregnant. Susan's legs could no longer carry the weight of her body, her eyes could not hold the tears of pain and fears. She was a devout Christian who 'just' had a 'boyfriend'. The term 'fornication' reverberated within her, she was not ready to wean a child, she was just a sophomore at medical school. How and what would she tell her parents who struggled to pay her fees and support her? These thoughts were too much to process and gradually everywhere became pale and finally blank......... Susan passed out_

I HAVE PRAYED FOR YOU

I have prayed for you

Many times in my Christian race, I’ve lost strength weeping behind closed doors about how poorly I’ve walked with God. So imperfect that I would stand today and fall headlong the next day. I fasted many times to correct my mistakes and have distanced myself from God many times feeling unworthy of such a Holy one. I lost my self-esteem many times because I thought 'I can’t continue with this life being unstable'. These are a few of the battles I fought in my mind.

But then a beam of hope flooded my heart the day I caught a revelation of Luke 22:31-32. That day I was just having my quiet time as usual and “WHACK!” I just got it. All these while I’ve been walking not knowing that Jesus had already invested so much in prayers for me (Jn. 17:9-26).
Jesus knew Peter might fall at that time, so he prayed for him beforehand. Jesus was proactive in the case of Peter. He was extraordinarily proactive in my case as well. Jesus prayed for me too! Hallelujah! He prayed for me in the 17th verse of John 17 (with reference to verse 20).

I believe in Jesus and He knew that at some time in my life, I might fall and struggle with hope. So, just as He did in the case of Peter, He prayed for me too.
He prayed for me; Ikpa Onwuka!
He prayed for you too who are in Him; In Christ!
We have faith that we will overcome because He prayed for us and we will continue to walk closely with Him.

So don't be discouraged if you fall. For if you truly and sincerely love Jesus and have Him in your heart and cry to him to save you, He will, and you will overcome.
Also we must learn to flee from all appearance of evil as we know the devil our adversary is very cunning and seeks our downfall even through those things we esteem very lightly.

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ”
(Phil. 1:6)

“I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”
(Phil. 4:12-13)

REVELATION VS PHYSICAL EXPERIENCE

Revelation vs Physical Experience

The only difference between a real revelation and a physical experience is that a revelation (in this context) happens in the spirit realm while an experience happens in the physical.
Revelations might not have any impact on any part of your physical body except your mind. Your mind is that element that harbors the thoughts of your heart and it is also connected to your brain and also supernaturally linked to your spirit. So your experiences in the spirit are still remembered by your physical mind (I don’t know if you understand).
So each time you remember a revelation, it’s as if you were there, but you might not have persons to testify about it because it was you alone and the spirit who gave the revelation that were really present there.
I’ve had a lot of revelations just as physical experiences and they have boosted my data base of knowledge and wisdom.
There is a revelation you receive from the Word of God and His Spirit. By this you can explain things perfectly well even if you’ve not ‘experienced’ them physically. It is the Spirit who updates the details of that revelation knowledge to your heart.

By revelation, you can understand how it would be if you’re not loving and caring for your spouse as Jesus demands, even if you're not married.
By revelation, you can understand and even feel how worship would be in heaven, even if you’ve not been there.
By revelation, you can understand the perils of an anointed one who willingly backslides, even if you’re not the one.

By revelation, you know that when a woman/man ‘cast’ their eyes upon you just as Potiphar’s wife did Joseph, the best and only thing to do if you must survive the Christian race is RUN! You shouldn’t even think of learning this one by physical experience, because you might not recover what you would lose.

So, let us not base our knowledge on the accumulation from physical experiences alone, but also from Revelation. It profits a lot!
Apostle Paul prayed thus; “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and the revelation in the knowledge of him” (Eph. 1:17).
Revelation comes from the Holy Spirit and the Word! Are you in the School of the Spirit? If not, enrol today by giving your life to Jesus and maintaining a regular quiet time with him.

If you want to give your life to Jesus, just pray with me:

Lord Jesus! I come to you today and I repent of all my sin. Please come into my life and reign as my Lord and my personal Saviour. Give me the grace to live a life that would please you and that when you return, I would be taken to be forever with you.
Thank you for accepting me in Jesus’ Name.

You’ve just begun the race; make sure you remain in Christ so you will overcome (Rev. 3:5)

Shalom!

THE EPHOD 2

EPHOD 2

Let us study another person in relation to the ephod; Abiathar, the son of Ahimelech the slain priest.
Abiathar was able to escape as the slaughter of his father and other priests was in progress (1Sam. 22:20-23). But there was something remarkable about this young priest; while trying to escape for his life, he still had the audacity to search for and carry his ephod with him (1Sam. 23:6). He knew that he was a “dead man” without the presence and direction of the Lord, even if he was successfully escaping. I imagine Abiathar saying to himself “instead of me to escape without my ephod, let me rather die with it”. He searched for it while Dog (Doeg is his real name, but he should be a dog to willingly kill the anointed of the Lord. In fact even dogs reason better) was busy killing the priests and their families, and then he found it and fled.

Abiathar became relevant to the camp of David because he carried the ephod; the direct access to get answers from God. David was able to inquire of the Lord about the next thing to do, where next to go (1Sam.23:9-13). Precise direction was given to whoever carried the ephod.
Today, you and I are supposed to be carrying our ephods, if not we’re putting the world and everyone around us in danger (Matt. 5:13-16). The lives of so many would be in danger if we refuse to put on our ephod.

Our EPHOD today is the WORD OF GOD (OUR BIBLE)
It could be many other things as well relevant to the faith  like prayer etc.

Have you lost an understanding of its importance like King Saul? If so you’re in severe trouble and so are the brethren around you because you might end up slaying them just like King Saul did.
Also, if you’re still dining and wining with someone who has lost an understanding of the importance of the ephod, you’re putting your life in danger because they will slay you some day if not today. Tell them the truth and let them know their true state and repent!

On the other hand, do you go around with your ephod and obey the instructions given therein by the Lord, just like Abiathar? If yes, you would be a divine blessing to your generation because you would shine as light and lead the world to Jesus the Saviour!

THE EPHOD 1

THE EPHOD 1

Have you ever asked yourself “How do I hear from God?” “Is there anything hindering me from hearing from him?” or have you ever felt so confused about a decision you needed to take and you just needed to hear from God as soon as possible?
Well, this helped me…And I trust God it could help you too… Enjoy!

The ephod is an apron which was worn by Hebrew priests. It is a divine instrument with which to inquire anything of God. Anyone who wore the ephod always got accurate answers and instructions from God as long as they were in line with him (because there were some who had compromised their ephod and couldn’t receive any correct information from God anymore).
It was designed by Moses with specific instructions from God, and first worn by Aaron his brother; the first priest of Israel. Since then, every priest had their own ephod. Many carried it wherever they went, many cherished it, and some despised it. Many recognized its importance, others neglected it. But all the same the ephod was used each time they needed to hear from God about any issue. It was carefully designed (Exodus 39:2).

There was no particular age one must reach as a priest before he began to wear the ephod. Samuel was a young minister, under training to become a priest, but he had his own ephod and always put it on (1Sam. 2:18).
To be able to use the ephod effectively, one must remain sanctified and always be in tune with God. Whoever qualifies to use the ephod is unarguably lent to the Lord. They no longer belong to themselves or anyone else apart from the Lord (1Sam.2:20; 1Pet.2:9; Gal. 2:20).
One dreadful thing to note is that whoever has once been in possession or in control of the ephod, and later disregards it or no longer knows its value is a disaster to the faith. Remember the ephod connects to God. When King Saul lost the presence of God, he also disregarded the ephod to the extent that he had to go to the witch of Endor to inquire about certain things, instead of asking the priests who were present. No wonder he was able to slay 85 priests of the Most High God (1Sam. 22:16-19). It is a dangerous thing to be without the ephod or worse still lose value of it, let us beware!
In the secondarticle, we would see the better side of using the ephod circumspectly.

ALPHA-OMEGA

Have you ever wondered what Jesus meant each time he said "I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE FIRST AND THE LAST"?

Well, I think he meant exactly what he said!
He is the first and He is the last...He lives forever! He has overcome! Hallelujah!

We speak, we sing, we recite, we chant and we even write about this.
But very few bring this belief into action.

How do you begin everything you do?
How do you begin your day?
Do you just wake up, ramble some words to a God you think is having a recorder waiting to record the ramblings? Then jump out and off you go, facing your daily business.

Or do you spend sometime first to thank God who gave you life to see another day, fellowship with him, before you begin any other thing?

Friends, if we will know God better, we've got to begin our day spending quality time with him.
You cannot recognize the voice of a dear friend if you don't spend time relating with him/her.

Jesus is the first- So begin with him
Jesus is the last- So conclude with him

Don't leave him out of anything you do.
If you've been doing this faithfully, I'm sure you have a testimony.
If you've not been having a good time of fellowship with Jesus...Men! You're missing a whole lot!

Begin every day with a "Quiet Time" with Jesus!

Leave a comment as always!
